Patriots News · Evans Sweeps Heritage on Dominate pitching

Heritage hung in as long as they could with Evans, but after the Patriots couldn’t get the bats to going it was too much. Hodges did a good job in the circle, but wanted Evans to have a different look. Trezure Callwood finished the game, but the run support wasn’t there as Heritage dropped the first game of the double header. Senior Makenzie Pugh led the team with 2 hits; Jayla Fuller, Camryn Caldwell, and Nylah Williams added a hit in the game for the Patriots. The Patriots dropped second game of the double header as well 14-1. The offense was lead in the second game by Cameron Hodges who had 2 hits and Pugh with a triple. The Patriots take on Lakeside Panthers today 10/6/20.
